My daughter received a beautiful fairy and wanted to take it out of the box to display it in her room. When we took it out of the packaging it would not stand up right, even with the stand. The doll is very top heavy and is held in place on the stand by her legs. The doll tips completely forward and you can't even see her face. It's beautiful if you leave it in the box all strapped down to the packaging. If you want to take it out of the packaging you'll be disappointed.
